A sustainable and accessible cruise on the Oslofjord
Experience the latest innovation in boat technology
Sustainability has been key to the boat’s design process, so it is constructed of carbon fibre, which makes it lighter and more energy-efficient than traditional steel boats. It also features universal design, which makes the experience accessible to everyone. An Oslo boat cruise on the Legacy of The Fjords is a comfortable experience for all guests, including disabled passengers. Wheelchair users will find it easy to get around the boat, right up onto the top deck, including the walkways that zigzag their way up the sides of the ship, inspired by the mountain trails that are such a key feature of the Norwegian landscape. An Oslofjord tour with The Fjords offers equality and enjoyment for everyone. The boat provides plenty of airy, comfortable space for each passenger.

Meet the crew on board Legacy of The Fjords
Eva, from Romsdal in Western Norway, loves Oslo. As First Officer, Eva is responsible for the weekly exercises carried out on Legacy of The Fjords. Safety is key on board, and Eva explains that there is always a crew of two on the bridge while the vessel is moving. “Legacy is a beautiful boat to work on – she is very easy to manoeuvre, and turns on a sixpence!”
